There is a warm, cosy and comfortable bedroom with twin beds with its own bathroom or alternatively a 4'6" double bed is available. A family could consider the use of a child's bed with a cot-size mattress and/or a wicker Moses basket for tiny tots. A choice of bedding is available also.

In addition to your own bathroom, there is a dedicated shower room with a straight forward electric shower for your day to day use. We can also provide the most luxurious showering "spa" experience for a little extra. We offer the opportunity to have a wonderful shower and massage as a package or as part of a "healthy" weekend or midweek break.

Breakfast can be at a time to suit you, in other words, if you wish to have a long lie in, then please do. We serve breakfast of whatever type in the Bistro downstairs, and packed hampers or lunches can be made for your day out. There is a Wholefood Café and Licensed Bistro downstairs so breakfast can be a moveable feast! So can meals in the evening, and there is plenty of choice on the 'specials' board. Please tell us if you would like something else prepared especially for you.

There is a small television in the bedroom or a larger set in the main drawing room where you can sit by the peat and log fire and watch DVD's, Videos or listen to some music. There are books to read and a variety of board games to entertain you.

We can hire out a new bicycle which can have a small cart attached to it and will soon have a second bicycle on offer.

This home is a cat lover's delight! But not everyone likes cats. If you are allergic to them or not cat friendly, then staying in Fournet House will not be right for you. Alison shares her home with two Birmans and two young Norwegian Forest cats. She considers they are very therapeutic and they love to be stroked. But Health and Hygiene regulations are respected and a cleaning schedule is in place throughout. We also operate a No Smoking policy.
